Poly-Boil: Pickle Jacket

I usually shy away from using polyester since it doesn't feel or breath like natural fiber, however, I recently experimented with boiling it to achieve a bumpy texture for my pickle jacket and it worked fantastically. All you need are a ton of marbles, rubber bands and a large piece of poly (shrinks to half the size)

Tie up the marbles anywhere you want using the rubber bands, then drop into boiling water for about 30 seconds. Untie the marbles and let dry, poly can shrink around any shape so experiment with whatever's lying around!

Shoot for Zachary Hatch

One of my models asked me to do a shoot with him in order to build up his portfolio and made the mistake of giving me complete creative control. Twenty five dollars worth of menswear from Goodwill and an early morning diner-hopping excursion resulted in the photos below, along with a hashbrown-eggs-over-easy-french-toast-apple-pie-milkshake-ache.

BEETS: Mesh Shirt + Business Cards

When searching for a nice pinkie/fusia, beets seemed the natural choice. I purchased a few whoppers from whole foods and immediately knew they would exceed my expectations.

Some cotton mesh got the beet treatment (the sleeves were left the original color)

I had some left overs so decided to give my business cards a little color.
